Radiating Pain
The most common first sign of sciatica is the pain moving from your low back down to your legs. Sometimes its only down one leg. You can have different sensations that will be listed below.
Numbness
Sometimes the radiating pain down the legs can happen after an accident or injury. With the pain you experience down the leg you can feel numbness which can move around. If you allow the numbness to continue for a long period of time it can turn into muscle weakness and loss of strength in your legs.
Tingling
Another sensation with sciatica is Tingling that radiate down your lower back and legs. The tingling can be constant and not change a lot with different positions you try. Tingling usually feels like when your hand or foot falls asleep and the feeling you get when it tries to wake up.
