Foods to help with Inflammation
Food and what we put in our body doesn’t only effect how we physically look but also can reflect on how you feel in the inside.Many patients don’t realize the effects what eating poorly can do to their bodies. It can cause pain and have inflammation.
When we put something into our body that either our body doesn’t want/like your body will begin to attack it. By doing so it causes inflammation which can lead to : swollen/painful joints, lack of range of motion, stress, fatigue, and emotional problems. Over time if you continue putting foods into your bodies that it doesn’t want it was cause the start of chronic disease.
Below is a list of a few of the bad foods we put in our bodies that cause inflammation:
- Soda
- Alcohol
- Gluten
- Dairy
- Trans Fat food
- Artificial Additives
- Red meat
- Shortening, lard or margarine
- Fried foods
- Refined carbs (pastries and bread)
Foods to fight against Inflammation
There’s many foods you can eat to help with inflammation. Why not try eating something healthy before always reaching for prescriptions. Below is a list of somethings you can try to help with your inflammation:
- tomatoes
- green leafy vegetables, such as spinach, kale, and collards
- nuts like almonds and walnuts
- fatty fish like salmon, mackerel, tuna, and sardines
- fruits such as strawberries, blueberries, cherries, and oranges
- Olive oil
- Tomatoes
- Coconut Oil
- Bone Broth
- Chia Seed
- Flax Seed
- Tumeric
- Ginger
