How to improve your workspace

Here’s a couple tips and tricks that could easily make your workspace so much more comfortable and help prevent injuries.

1. Computer Screen

Make sure your screen is eye level. Your nose should go through the center of the screen. Make sure the screen or keyboard aren’t making your head tilt down to much.

2. The Chair

Try to find a chair that is cushioned and comfortable. It needs to be adjustable so you can adjust it to your bodies needs. It should be able to move up and down and also be on wheels to make it easier to move around with. You should never sit for to long of a period of time. Make sure your getting up and moving around ever hour if you can.

3. The Desk

If your job allows it get a sit to stand desk that is interchangeable. It will allow your body to rest and get a break from sitting for hours with bad posture. You will find its much harder to have bad posture if your standing up. And by standing it will get your legs moving and circulation to your limbs.

4. Mouse/ Keyboard

Try to find a mouse that is ergonomic same with the keyboard. If you work on the computer all day you will find it makes a world of a difference by making these small changes. Try to keep the mouse close to your body and not forcing your arm to be stretched out to reach it. Same thing with the keyboard try to keep it close to you which will help keep good posture and avoid leaning forward to much.
