Sitting can cause back pain

Have you ever wondered if sitting at a desk, in your car or on the couch all day could effect your back. A sedentary activity, sitting can cause our backs to become strained leading to discomfort or pain. Sitting for long periods of time can cause our muscles to tighten and stiffen up.

So you may ask what you can do to prevent or avoid back problems. It might seem hard to do since we all work and some are required to sit at a desk all day long. But getting up every 1-2 hours will make a huge difference. You can walk to get water, go to the bathroom or just stand up a stretch a little. These small movements will make a big difference. You can also try to add some exercise to your daily routine. Just working out for 30-60 minutes a day can help with more then just your back. It can help prevent other health problems and keep you in shape.

We also recommend regular chiropractic adjustments to keep your spine healthy and in alignment.
